What we do

We manufacture engineered steel trusses on a 4/12 pitch and 6/12 pitch in widths of 24′ thru 60′ with sidewalls 8′ thru 18′. We offer two options on our truss legs. We have an open web leg or a channel leg either 6″ or 8″ wide. We manufacture a gambrel roof truss that is 24′ wide and has either a 8′ or a 10′ sidewall. You may purchase trusses only and buy your other materials locally or you may purchase a custom packaged building from us.

Our packages include all materials except lumber, concrete and overhead doors. We will give you a list of lumber needed so your local lumber company prepares your lumber package. When we prepare the bid on your building we will estimate the cost of materials we do not offer and we believe we can get you to within $200 of the total cost for your building. We Guarantee you will have all our materials you need for your building. Should we not have enough materials in your package, we will ship you the materials at no cost or will reimburse you should you choose to buy local.

We believe the Adams steel truss used with lumber offers the bet value and most amateur-friendly value in the building industry. Should you choose to use steel purlins and girts your cost will increase, but we do build the trusses so steel can be used in place of wood.

Mike & Lauren Fields – Owners

Adams Truss, Inc.began in 1955 as Adams and Son Welding and Machine Shop. Fred Adams began to manufacture steel building trusses in 1966. When Fred passed away in 1975 his son Dale took over the business and ran it for the next 45 years. As of 2021 Dale has (partially) retired and Mike Fields has taken over as the new owner. Mike and his wife Lauren are both Arkansas natives who love our Natural State and are proud to continue Dale and Fred’s legacy of serving customers nationwide.
